Knowledge of one’s history is an important part of the development of any society.  Given the role that the Arts play in the development of a people and systems of communication, it is important that organization’s such as Art By Creative Design© play its part in highlighting the continued need for archiving of our process as a country, and bring knowledge and knowing to our young citizens.

"Jeli: Stories of Our Heritage" is one platform that we have used as a means of sharing and archiving information on Southern artists who have contributed significantly to the development of the Arts in Trinidad & Tobago. Its format allows us to pay tribute to our trending and iconic southern artists; provides space for an artiste/artisan showcase; and facilitates net-working. 

This event also supports our efforts to successfully meet the costs of providing our community with free educational sessions, programs, and workshops related to academics, the arts and indigenous cultural forms.
